Description: How many times have you read through that really important email before sending it? 5 times? More? Us too. Sometimes, it’s important to read through emails going to lots of people or high-up managers. However, at a certain point, all that forethought starts to get amplified into what-ifs. What if this email shows that you don’t know what you are doing? What if you make a simple grammar mistake and people think you aren’t serious about engineering? These are classic questions of someone with imposter syndrome. A lot of times, early career professionals overthink the emails they are sending because they are new to their role and not yet confident in themselves. In this session, we will discuss how to start overcoming imposter syndrome with the simplest tactic: just sending that email.
