Description: You've survived the first trimester nausea, enjoyed the second trimester energy, and are now in the final stretch of pregnancy. Congratulations! Are you feeling anxious about taking a break from your work, handing over responsibilities, and staying in touch with colleagues while you're away? If you're feeling overwhelmed by the thought of going on parental leave, this snap session is for you. In this session, you will learn how to create a realistic and effective plan for your transition to parental leave, how to communicate your plan to your manager and teams, and how to set boundaries and expectations for your time away. You will also get tips and templates for streamlining your work before you leave, delegating tasks, and documenting your processes. As a former program manager who recently navigated parental leave, I will share my insights and experiences on how to make this transition as smooth as possible.
