Megan Beck has a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and has been an integration engineer at Intel Corporation for more than 3 years. Within Intel, she leads interdisciplinary teams to develop technical strategies for the fabrication of the front-end transistor for the next generation of microprocessor chips. Megan has been active in SWE since graduate school and has served in leadership positions at both the local and Society levels. She established Northwestern University’s GradSWE group in 2016, served as the Graduate Programming Coordinator for WE18, joined the Collegiate Engagement Taskforce in FY20, and was a member of the Bylaws Committee in FY21. Megan is currently serving as a SWE Senator for FY22-FY24. She contributed to the FY23-FY27 SWE Strategic Plan with a primary focus on the Global Community Pillar and evaluated SWE leadership as part of the Senate's FY23 Future Leadership Experience sub-team.
