Amie Patao is an Associate Technical Fellow in Engine Performance Tools & Analysis Methods, and an E-UMit in Engine Performance. She has 20+ years of experience in key roles flight testing and certifying the 777-200ER, 777-300ER, 777-200LR, 747-8, and 737MAX. She steers the management and application development support for the suite of tools used by the Engine Performance community. Amie is passionate about driving efficiencies in everyday engineering workflows, and is a huge advocate for adopting Python as a means to bridge data gaps between organizations. She is driven to harness opportunities created by open source software to grow organizational capabilities in engineering analysis, and consults across business units on model-based engineering platforms and technology stacks. Amie views knowledge sharing as a fundamental tenet of her professional life, and will grasp any opportunity to teach and mentor. She earned her BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
