Rana Karimi is a Solutions Manager for ProcureAbility, a sourcing strategy consulting firm. In her client work, Rana has held roles in strategic sourcing, procurement, and category management in technical categories while supporting transformational work. A significant part of working in Sales is negotiating. Rana has developed negotiation strategy on many multi-million dollar deals for top Fortune companies. Prior to becoming a sourcing consultant, she was an engineer and worked in multiple industries as a project manager and manufacturing engineer. Rana is deeply passionate about empowering women in technical careers and advocating for themselves by way of negotiation. She has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
